HENRI SYSTEMS HOLLAND

Henri Systems Holland B.V.

Henri Systems Holland B.V. - Henri Systems Holland (HSH) was founded in 1984 by a small group of passionate and experienced people in the field of marine instrumentation. Based on the many years of work in the field and the organizational spirit of its founders, the company was able to take over the marine branch of ENRAF NONIUS and lead it to a new era of groundbreaking technologies.

All the knowledge of its members has been used from the beginning to achieve a high level of quality for all its products. Using new materials and new designs, HSH could achieve spectacular results in a short period of time, extending its market worldwide and becoming a successful market leader. The growth of the company is also a result of the good relations with all its clients, which are built on mutual trust and respect. The needs of HSH’s customers are always taken into consideration and are handled with the highest care.

HSH has always taken pride in delivering and servicing its products at the highest level of quality possible. The low maintenance needed for its devices and the precision of its instrumentation made HSH the main supplier of level gauges for LPG end LNG gas carriers for most of the new ships.

All the final products are ATEX certified by the major class societies and can be safely mounted on LPG and LNG carriers.

Considerable funds are directed to research and improvement of new generations of products. We invest about 8% of our revenue in research. We are in the process of developing of a new type of LNG sensor for LNG Bunker tanks in cooperation with TNO Research Institute. It is our vision to also become the market leader in LNG bunker measurement. This permanent desire to be the best made HSH world leader in our field of activity. We actually are three times bigger than our main competitor regarding the quantity of delivered level measuring devices and the number of vessels equipped with HSH marine instrumentation.

Products

Float Type Level Gauge 807

The FTLG 807 is the most successful level gauge for LPG carriers. The FTLG 807 is an upgrade of the FTLG 806 which production has been discontinued. The experience of the last 27 years with the FTLG 806 has been used to make a very good level gauge and even a better one.

Accuracy and reliability is what counts on gas carriers. The FTLG 807 makes it possible to “see” what is going on inside the cargo tanks. The ease of operation and maintenance, have been the key elements in the design philosophy.

With over 400 gas carriers equipped with our level gauges, reliability is not a question. Henri Systems Holland has proven for many years on virtually all types of gas and chemical carriers, from small pressurized gas tankers to large LNG carriers.

High Level Alarm HLA 907

The HSH High level Alarm 907 (HLA 907) is a reliable high level alarm instrument for tankers with a liquid cargo. The HSH HLA 907 series marine high level alarm is a float type high level alarm with a stainless steel construction to provide a secure base for the high level alarm in cargo tanks.

The HLA 907 series marine level gauge can be used on all types of ships carrying liquid products. The HSH marine high level alarm system can be equipped with up to 3 alarm contacts. The alarm generated by the device can be used by a wide variety of cargo handling systems.

The HLA 907 has an advanced testing functionality. The floats are lifted via a magnetic connection from the top of the tank. The main advantage is that no extra tank entry is necessary and gas leakage into the junction box or the Cargo Control Room is almost impossible. The only entry into the tank is a fully welded construction with a standard 6″ 150 LBS / 300 LBS flange.

The switching contacts are reed contacts with integrated Namur resulting in continuous control of cable failure.

TankGuard 831

The HSH Tankguard 831 has been designed for centralized display of cargo conditions, e.g. pressure/level/temperature in cargo tanks on vessels. The Tankguard 831 (TG831) is also equipped with hardware and software to monitor the HSH FTLG 806 & 807. The transmission circuit between level gauge and remote level indicator is intrinsically safe as well as fail-safe: it is continuously monitored and in case of a failure that would result in an erroneous level indication.

Additionally, input & output signals are provided for communications with remote data acquisition systems and/or analog or digital sensors, e.g. 4-20 mA and HART communication are supported, Modbus RS232 or RS485 and Modbus over TCPIP can be used for communications with AIS. The actual /average or voyage level is displayed by means of a digital LCD display. Depending on the settings the level can be displayed in “ullage” or “innage” mode with increments of 1 mm. “Innage” read out is most common (“zero” level at tank bottom).

The remote level indicators are designed for flush panel-mounting and can easily be incorporated in (cargo) control panels. As the indicators are solid state (no moving parts), no periodical maintenance is required.
