GÖPFERT valves can be found on all types of vessels and are used in new buildings in Europe and Asia. Also, the most exclusive cruise vessel "MS Europa" from Hapag Lloyd has been equipped with our valves. Apart from the shipbuilding market, our valves are used in land-operated industrial complexes in Saudi-Arabia, North and South America and Greece. 40-year celebration Each ferry on the Kiel-canal (known in Germany as the Nord-Ostsee-Kanal) is using our fire fighting valves. Fireboats in Hamburg and Bremen are using our fire monitors. We are the manufacturer of the valves for the submarines class 212 of the German Navy. The class-212-submarines are, worldwide, the first equipped with hydrogen fuel cells. Göpfert AG 2020 Nowadays, Göpfert develops and produces valves and fittings in accordance to the requirements of 20 different norms and regulations. Our in-house foundry has been certified by DNV GL (Det Norske Veritas / Germanischer Lloyd), LR (Lloyds Register) and BV (Bureau Veritas). Furthermore, our valves have type approvals from ABS, Lloyds Register, DNV GL (Det Norske Veritas / Germanischer Lloyd) and RMRS (Russian Maritime Register of Shipping), which eliminates the need in many cases for an extra certification. However, if required, all major classification societies are regulary coming to Göpfert.
