In doing so, the most modern techniques from the field of simulation, as well as our own test benches, offer us the possibility of targeted testing of the drives. Products

Hydraulic motors

Düsterloh hydraulic motors have proven themselves in industrial use for decades. They are characterized by robustness and a sophisticated design. In combination, both ensure maximum reliability even under difficult operating conditions. The hydraulic motors are available with their downstream gears and brakes in a large number of variants. Important features are high speeds and power, the possibility of stepless fine adjustment and thus the particularly good suitability for the control of strongly varying power requirements of the working machines. Hydraulic motors are used as precision drives in the form of stepper motors, actuators or self-regulating servo motors. Direct control or control via servo units is used. Customers from the mining industry as well as the machine tool, vehicle technology and plant engineering sectors order these hydraulic motors.

Pneumatikmotoren

Düsterloh pneumatic motors are suitable for continuous operation under harsh operating conditions. They also function reliably in a very humid atmosphere or other extreme climatic environments. Operation of the pneumatic motors is possible with air, nitrogen and other gases. Standard equipment includes protective screen seals, differential pressure lubricators and adjustable speed limiters. In addition, Düsterloh also offers special versions of the pneumatic motors for operation with unlubricated air. The good sound attenuation of the pneumatic motors is achieved by a long exhaust air duct. In addition, the pneumatic motors can be equipped with downstream silencers. The long service life is ensured by ground and hardened rotors.

Pneumatic starters

Pneumatic starters are used for starting turbines and diesel engines. Essentially, they consist of a gear motor, the valve combination and the single-track drive with reduction gear. Gear motors develop their highest torque directly at breakaway. This makes pneumatic starters particularly suitable for starting diesel engines. They can be operated with gas or air and are independent of an electrical energy storage system, explosion-proof and maintenance-free. Furthermore, pneumatic starters are characterized by extremely reliable operating behavior. This means they can start any diesel engine, even in extreme environments. Pneumatic starters are used in the Arctic, tropics, deserts and offshore areas.

Aggregates

Düsterloh specializes in the project planning and design, manufacture and commissioning of customer-specific fluid power units. These include hydraulic units with tank sizes up to 8,000 dm³, which operate in steel and stainless steel tanks with the operating media mineral and gear oil as well as flame-retardant pressure fluids. The pipelines of the aggregates are equipped with cutting ring and/or welding cone fittings. With regard to their drive powers, individual power units perform up to 110 kW per motor-pump assembly. Düsterloh can offer noise encapsulation of complete gensets and motor-pump units. The systems come completely from one source.

Pneumatic motors

Düsterloh pneumatic motors are of particularly robust construction and are designed for continuous operation and harsh operating conditions.

In addition, pneumatics offer many advantages over other energy transmitters. For example, air can be stored well due to its compressibility and can also be transported over long distances, without large pressure losses.

For this reason, Düsterloh pneumatic motors are also frequently used as emergency drives in metallurgical and rolling mill equipment. They work reliably even in humid atmospheres and extreme climatic conditions. The motors can be operated with air, nitrogen or other gases.

Pneumatic starters

Düsterloh pneumatic starters are used to start diesel engines and turbines. They essentially consist of a gear motor, a single-track drive with reduction gear and a valve combination. Since the gear motor develops its highest torque when breaking loose, it is particularly suitable for starting diesel engines. Düsterloh pneumatic starters can be operated with air or gas. They are independent of electrical energy storage, maintenance-free and explosion-proof.

The available series achieves torques, measured at the starter pinion, of up to 510 Nm at a working pressure of 15 bar. For higher starting powers, two starters can be operated in parallel. A safety circuit is available for this purpose, which only allows the diesel to be started when the pinions of both starters are fully engaged in the ring gear of the diesel.

Special features Pneumatic starters

Their reliable operating characteristics ensure that the diesel engine can be started safely even under extreme environmental conditions, i.e. places of use can be found in the tropics as well as in the Arctic, in desert areas or offshore.

The starters have a modular design consisting of the motor drive, single-track drive and control peripherals. The control can be electric, pneumatic or manual. Maintenance reduction of the system is achieved by permanent lubrication of the rotors and engine bearings, eliminating the need for an oiler in the air supply. Electric starters can easily be replaced by Düsterloh starters due to the identical connection dimensions. The flange dimensions for flange mounting comply with the standard according to SAE J 542 C.
Slow turning

By means of an upstream valve, the starter can also be used for "slow turning", i.e. for draining the pistons (water hammer is reduced). In the case of large diesels, the gymnastics device can be used to move the piston to the required position during repairs.
Pre-lubrication

The starters can also be used to drive pre-lubrication pumps, where the oil pressure in the diesel must be brought up to operating pressure within 2 - 3 seconds before starting. This is necessary for "standby drives" which start immediately under load.

Hydraulic power units

The primary stations are manufactured with tank sizes of up to 15,000 dm³. The tank materials used are aluminum, steel or stainless steel. The operating media can be selected from mineral oil, gear oil and flame-retardant liquids. The pipelines are designed with cutting ring, welded cone or flared fittings as standard. The drive power is up to 110 KW per motor-pump assembly. Noise protection encapsulation of motor-pump units or complete units is optional.

We supply systems "from one source", including motors and cylinders as well as electronic control with wiring, including multilingual documentation.

Gear lubrication in the steel industry

Düsterloh Fluidtechnik develops and manufactures hydraulic power units for lubricating and cooling gearboxes that are precisely tailored to their requirements. Gearboxes are used for power transmission, for example in rolling mills or in tilting drives for converters in the steel industry. Gearbox lubrication reduces friction-related losses and increases the service life of gearboxes.
